Kimmel behind 'twerking girl on fire'

Kimmel revealed the online prank in an interview with the woman, who is actually a stuntwoman, on his show last night.
"We didn't send it to any TV station, we didn't tweet it," Kimmel said. "We just put it on YouTube and let the magic happen."
The original footage, which has drawn more than 10 million views since it was uploaded to YouTube a week ago, claimed to show a woman from Missouri named "Caitlin Heller" (real name Daphne Avalon) shake her bottom in a suggestive dance that she said she wanted to record for her boyfriend.
She then turns the raunch up a notch with a twerking handstand against her living room door.
But when a friend opens the door, "Caitlin" comes crashing down on a glass coffee table where she had placed some tea light candles.
The footage ends abruptly as the screaming woman scrambles back to her feet with her yoga pants on fire.
The video hit the internet bloodstream and circulated through a host of social media and news websites, including ninemsn, as well as several TV stations.
Some supposed the video to be a fake but others, including ninemsn, did not question its authenticity.
"Caitlin Heller" refused any media interviews and the truth remained a mystery until last night, when Kimmel revealed on Jimmy Kimmel Live! that the whole incident was an elaborate hoax.
He even showed unseen extended footage that shows him storm into the room with a fire extinguisher.
"To the conspiracy theorists on the Internet who thought the video was fake: You were right it was fake," said Kimmel.
"Thank you for helping us deceive the world and hopefully put an end to twerking forever."
